Start a word file or a binder for Holiday ideas and thoughts. You can categorize by gift ideas, decorating ideas, menu recipes, fun things to do, and so on. Then start filling it up now as ideas come your way. If Uncle Bill mentions something during the year he needs or likes, jot it down and you have a gift list in the making. The October issue of your favorite magazine has some advance holiday recipes, pull them out and put them in your binder. You are making yourself a how-to book to help avoid holiday stress.
